Welcome!

Welcome, to the blog for Cayuga duck fans! This blog will teach you all about Cayuga ducks and how they live. Cayuga ducks are black with an irridescent green, blue and sometimes purple. They are a threatened species, which means they are almost endangered in the wild. They live on the Canada/US border from Maine to Washington. They are considered "Moutain Ducks" because they live in the snowy moutains year round. These ducks can only fly short distances, but are pretty fast. Cayuga ducks are hardy egg layers. There eggs are very large and have strong shells.
